Complete turnkey PalmPilot™ medical systems may be set up to upload data from any Palm™ to a database.  In this case, a "front end" set of screens is developed so that the end user may rapidly view / edit / print out data on the PC.   Once data is viewed on these screens it may be transferred at the touch of a button to a central database.
